In the Fall of 2021, the Chester River Chorale started working with the Mid-Shore Community Foundation to establish the Douglas Dean Cox Endowment for the Chester River Chorale. The endowment is the brainchild of former Chorale President Caitlin Patton, and named in honor of former Artistic Director Doug Cox on the occasion of his retirement from the Chester River Chorale.
The Chester River Chorale plans to have an official launch of the endowment in the near future, and after this official launch, supporters will be able to make contributions directly to the endowment. The endowment will be able to accept gifts of property as well as cash.
