Carolyn Menzie

Carolyn moved to Chestertown after her retirement in 2015. She and her husband, Dave, had been weekenders since 2006. They very cleverly built their home within walking distance of the Presbyterian Church which has turned out to be very convenient now that our rehearsals are held there.

When Carolyn moved to Chestertown, she had no idea that there was a robust community choral group. What a bonus that was! Singing in a large group is such a joy-filled experience. Carolyn is singing Soprano 2 after a brief stint as an Alto 1. It was great getting to know the Awesome Altos, but it is fun to be singing with the Super Sopranos once again.

Carolyn is a recovering CPA having spent 40 plus years immersed in taxes. The last thirty years were in Northern Virginia. In addition to being the treasurer of the Chorale, her interests include playing with her grandchildren (3 in Northern Virginia and 3 in Aman, Jordan), being the assistant treasurer at the Presbyterian Church of Chestertown, working on the annual financial review of the local Samaritan Group, and traveling at every opportunity.
